Rod Stewart

Rod Stewart has canceled his upcoming live performances after undergoing a scheduled procedure to have a stent placed in his coronary arteries. The news comes just a few days after Stewart postponed a concert at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, citing an “unforeseen but minor medical procedure.”

“On the advice of his doctors, he will spend the next four weeks recovering and fully regaining his physical condition before returning to the stage,” Stewart’s representatives said. “Unfortunately, this means he will not be able to continue with his current tour dates.”

“I’m already feeling better and recovering very quickly,” Rod says. “I want to thank the doctors, nurses, and everyone who took such wonderful care of me. I’m deeply disappointed that I’ll have to miss these concerts, and I’m sorry to let my fans down, but I can’t wait to get back on stage and have a great time together again soon.”
