Peter Baltes is hospitalized after suffering three broken ribs following a serious fall from the stage during the Dirkschneider concert on July 25, as part of the “Pyraser Classic Rock Night” held at the Pyraser Landbrauerei, a brewery in the Thalmässing district of Pyras, Germany.
Earlier today (Sunday, July 26), U.D.O. and Dirkschneider released the following statement via social media:
“During our performance at the Pyraser Classic Rock Night, Peter Baltes and [U.D.O. and Dirkschneider guitarist] Alen Brentini fell due to inadequate safety conditions on stage. Alen sustained several serious injuries and other wounds. Fortunately, despite this, he is able to continue performing. Peter suffered three broken ribs and is being treated at a hospital in Nuremberg. He will most likely be unable to perform for an extended period of time. Our thoughts are with him, and we wish him a speedy and full recovery. Despite these difficult circumstances, Dirkschneider will continue to perform their scheduled concerts as planned.”
