The Danes released a new video from their album“Seal The Deal & Let’s Boogie”, and this time it’s for “Black Rose”. It’s an animated video while the song features Canadian Danko Jones sharing lead vocals. As guitarist Rob Caggiano commented he is a good friend of the band and digs what Volbeat do. “We took him on tour on the last album cycle and it was great. He's such a cool dude, and he's a huge music nerd like we are. He's awesome. So we were working on this song 'Black Rose', and Michael (Poulsen, Volbeat lead singer) was singing the verse part, and he was, like, 'Maybe Danko Jones could sing on this one. It sounds like something that he would do.' And it totally does! We could almost hear it before it even happened. When we approached him about doing it, he was totally psyched, and he completely nailed it."

Michael Poulsen of Danish/American rock 'n' rollers VOLBEAT has confirmed that the band has commenced the songwriting process for the follow-up to last year's "Seal the Deal & Let's Boogie" album. "I'm always inspired, and we already have certain new songs written," he told the 99.7 The Blitz radio station at this past weekend's Rock On The Range festival in Columbus, Ohio. "But new things are happening. I just became a father a week ago [to] my first child, so now it's a life change. Who knows how the new songs are gonna sound like? But it feels good when you're done in the studio, and you don't wanna see the studio for a long time and you don't wanna sit home and write. But you also come to a point where you wanna get back to the songwriting and get back to the studio and back on the road and play new songs, because it can also get boring playing the same old songs all over again. So it's always great to find that inspiration for writing new songs and recording."
According to Poulsen, five songs have been written so far for VOLBEAT's seventh album, three of which "are very heavy [and] more uptempo" while two are "more melodic rock songs."

Dannish Volbeat has released a lyric video for the song "The Devil's Bleeding Crown" from their upcoming sixth studio album "Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie" which is out on June 3rd. the album will contain 13 songs and it was produced by Jacob Hansen, Michael Pulsen -the band's frontman- and Rob Caggiano -ex-Anthrax guitarist, and member of Volbeat. Also, they announced that Kaspar Boye Larsen, long time friend of the band and member of the Hitchcocks and the Kandidate, will be handling bass duties for their upcoming shows. Finally, last year Volbeat signed with famous management company Q Prime which is run by Cliff Burnstein and Peter Mensch.

Volbeat has just completed mixing their sixth album working with Joe Barresi. Rob Caggiano who became the band’s full time guitarist in February 2013 produced the album. At the moment there is no information about when the album will be released, as well as who is going to replace Andreas Kjolholm as the band’s bassist. The band played a new song off the album, “The Devil’s Bleeding Crown” in a show in Denmark last August. Volbeat are confirmed for Coachella on 15 and 22 of April, while they will perform a special show at Hollywood’s Roxy on April 13th.

Danish rockers released a new video for "Seal The Deal" from their recent album "Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie" that was released in June. This is the first video from this album after "The Devil's Bleeding Crown". Volbeat guitarist Rob Caggiano previously said of the song: "We already had the album title before we wrote this song and as is the case with all these songs, they came together musically before we had any lyrics. But this song, to me, very much has the spirit of Motorhead in it."

"We are happy to announce that Kaspar Boye Larsen is officially now the new bass player in Volbeat," says vocalist and guitarist Michael Poulsen. "We just got back from a great US tour and Kaspar showed as we expected that he's the real deal. The fans love him and we can't wait for the rest of you to hook up with us as a full band again on our coming shows." Kaspar has prevouisly been part of punk rock outfit The Hitchcocks and alt metal group The Kandidate, and even went on tour with Volbeat as a support act in 2010. Kaspar will have his European debut at Rock am Ring June 3rd - the same day as the upcoming album, Seal The Deal & Let’s Boogie, is released worldwide.

Sometime we said that we really wanted to watch AC/DC in Greece, because they’never been here. The dream became reality and the same happened with other bands like Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and a lot more bands that satisfied their fans by paying a visit in our country. However, the thirst rock’n’roll create can never be really quenched. Therefore, picks out 10 bands that would love to see play a show in Greece… promoters this is for you!

Imagine your favorite team playing in home turf, in a full sold out stadium, with expectations running high, and passion hitting red. That’s what is portrayed by the 11 cameras used to capture Volbeat’s show in their home town, Copenhagen, in front of 10,000 of their mental fans.

The band is in great spirits and goes out swinging with its best songs from its four impeccable so far albums, while there are some special guests like Entombed’s, LG Petrov, Pernille Rosendhal, Mille Pettroza from Kreator, who really comes out from nowhere to sing “7 Shots”, just as he does on the studio version in the album, while the ex Mercyful Fate, and King Diamond, who now plays for Force Of Evil, Michael Denner contributes on the guitar solos. Talking about special guests, we should also point out that on the second disc, that features the band’s performance at Anaheim’s House Of Blues, Anthrax’s Scott Ian goes up on stage with them for “I Only Wanna Be With You”, while the Anthrax connection begins a bit earlier with Rob Caggiano playing guitar on Misfits’ “Angelfuck”. Also, on the second disc you can watch an expert of the bands performance at last year’s Rock AM Ring Festival in Nuremberg, where they really conquer the multi-platform stage, while thousands of people go nuts on their feet.
For a European mega-force, as Volbeat are developing into one, it is very important that they are accepted by younger fans, a thing that become obvious on the first disc, with countless of shots of boys and girls, young and old, singing their songs note for note. Also, by including material from a big venue (Copenhagen), a huge one (Rock AM Ring), and a small one (House Of Blues) they prove that it doesn’t matter where they play to give their 110%, and that what keeps the fans coming back, and turns the audience into fans!
