Alice Cooper entered the small meeting room of the Radisson Hotel in Göteborg, where I had been waiting. He mumbled some words to his assistant as he came in and went forward to greet me. Alice Cooper launched an outsider campaign for public office with a 10-point manifesto and asks people to vote for him in both US and Great Britain. “Tired of the rhetoric, the misguiding, the media frenzy, keeping his snake in the cage and the guillotine in storage, he is putting people before career. Alice Cooper wants to be elected”, says his press release. His manifesto includes getting Brian Johnson back to AC/DC, renaming Big Ben to “Big Lemmy” and “no more pencils, no more books” between others. For this cause there is a special website and his classic song “Elected” from the monumental album from 1972 “Billion Dollar Babies” was re-recorded and you can listen to it here.
Obviously, this whole thing is another way of Alice Cooper making a poignant commene about politics in both the States and Britain, although it would be fun if this campaign was for real!

Dynamite Entertainment is proud to announce the upcoming September launch of Alice Cooper Vs. Chaos!,

Legendary rocker Alice Cooper has told that he is excited by the news that Axl Rose will be fronting AC/DC on the next leg of the latter band's upcoming world tour. "I just think that's such a unique combination," Alice said. "Whoever has tickets to that show has got the golden ticket, because who doesn't want to see that?"

Cooper said that he heard about the pairing a while ago, but didn't believe it at first. "At first I thought it was an April Fool's thing," he said. "I went, 'Oh, come on.' Then I started thinking about it and said, 'You know, his voice is absolutely perfect for that band. That might just work.'"
