First on stage were the progsters The Silent Wedding in an almost empty Piraeus Academy. The small audience didn't discourage them, however they tried to satisfy everyone in the venue. Although there were some problems with the mixing of the sound (low volume Keyboards), they were enjoyable and left positive opinions. They played songs from their two albums, "Livin Experiments" and the recent "Enigma Eternal". Personally I enjoyed a lot songs like "Shadows & Dust", "The Return (To Ithaca)" and "Silence".

2 years without SSIK, the Greek KISS tribute band, seemed too much for the Athens crowd and as a result there was a lot of people waiting to see them at the Crow Club last Saturday night. The place was almost full, while a few people had makeup on!

First day of the festival and unfortunately the review that follows doesn’t cover all the bands that played, but just half of them. Unfortunately, we couldn’t be at the venue earlier so that we can watch the entire bill, so we would like to apologize to the promoter and the bands, Ganzi Gun and Heart Attack, that we missed.

It was back in 1993 when a group of musicians decided to do something out of the ordinary that, in their own words, seemed something just for fun. “Plays Metallica By Four Cellos” was released in 1996 and they didn’t expect that it would make such an impact. Many years after that, they have released eight studio albums, they have gained worldwide fame and have sold over four million copies. The tour for the anniversary of this album brought them to Greece in order to perform in Gazi Music Hall.
